Mini Tummy tuck to improve c-section skin roll

Published on August 12, 2013

A mini tummy tuck is surgical procedure to remove any excess skin and fat which is located below the belly button. Usually the excess tissue is in the groin or lower abdominal area.

Frequently after a c-section procedure there is a roll of skin and fat which forms just above the incision line. This excess tissue forms due to the changes which occur to the skin during and after pregnancy.

Diet and exercise may improve the amount of fat that is accumulated but will do nothing for the stretched out skin. To correct this a mini tummy tuck is frequently the procedure of choice.

A mini tummy tuck simply removes the loose skin in the lower abdominal groin area but does nothing to the skin located above the belly button.
