Should I Lose Weight Before Dog Ear Revision?

Published on May 13, 2013

It is always best to be at your goal weight before any body contouring procedure.

That being said just because you lose 10lbs it does not mean you will lose anything in the areas that you are looking to revise.  You may lose that weight in your thighs, back etc.

Also if you have a dog ear from a previous surgery a portion of the dog ear is excess skin which will not likely go away with weight loss.
